Château l'Espérance is a family owned and managed vineyard located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, north of Bordeaux.

The vineyards of Château l'Espérance (Castle of Hope) consists of 63 carefully selected parcels, spread across an area of 10 km2. These parcels are located on the lovely hills of Blaye, which are an average of 40 meters above sea level. The soil on the hills is generally more complex, consisting of deep clay and limestone. Limestone is extraordinarily rich in calcium and magnesium and is the backbone of the finest French wines. Bordeaux is the wine capital of the world thanks to its unique

terroir - climate and the geographical location and for centuries wine producers throughout the world have constantly looked to Bordeaux for help and guidance. The wine is influence by expertise gained in Bordeaux over centuries. The faculté d'benologie de Bordeaux (the wine faculty in Bordeaux) and several research bodies are constantly working to develop new techniques and innovative advances in the wine industry. Bordeaux is the undisputed wine capital of the world!
